Hello everybody!
I'm back after a 5 month break, and I'm really sorry about it. Around Christmas I had one of the longest depressed periods of my life and I've only been clawing out of it over the last month or so. I'm back now though, hopefully for good. I've released 5 chapters at once as an apology about just disappearing, but I'm going to try and catch up to where I should be for how long I've been away (35 to go lol).

I Added A Queue
Hey all!
So I'm late, as usual. I'm about half done on the next chapter, but over the next 10 days I am going to be VERY busy at work, because over the Christmas to new year period it's insane. I will try to keep as up to date as possible, but I am just dropping a warning for you all now. This time I might not be releasing not because of anything going on in my head but rather because I'll be working solidly. Now that I've covered that, I have three chapters to release! I'll be releasing the three I owe (2 Babel and 1 From Ashes) as soon as I can, but I've not had the best couple of weeks. My head has not been in a great place most of the time, but when it has been in a good place it's been really nice. Anyway, I'm sorry about the lateness and here's the chapters I owe!

I Exist To Be Late
Hey all!
My point is in the title, I'm running late on everything today, but I would not be running late last night if my PC hadn't needed to update for an hour and a half (thanks Microsoft). Either way, I'm doing the two Babel chapters I owe for Monday and will be releasing the Wednesday chapter when I get home. Gaaah.

Swingdown Town
Hey all!
Sorry about being AWOL with the chapters over the last week. It's not been intentional, in fact the Wednesday update WAS on time, I was just knackered and forgot to post about the chapter actually being released. I know, so smart of me.
Either way, you have two new Babel chapters for your perusal and one new part to chapter 1 of From Ashes! I'll try and get two babel chapters out on Monday to make up for the missed chapter and then we should be back on track. The next update will have a milestone attached to it by the way. It will be the marking point for 10% of the story, so we should only have 70 odd chapters to go from that point on! Woo! Anyway, here's the chapters:

On Time? On time.
Hey all!
I got some good news! I finally actually decided to release the first FOUR parts of From Ashes! You'll be able to find it in the From Ashes TOC on the sidebar. I'll probably do a mass release once the first chapter is out in its entirety, but I'm splitting it up into 1000 odd word sections. That still means you've got about 5000 words worth of story there for your perusal, and that will only grow!
In other news, the next chapter is out! It's a slightly shorter than average one, but it's pretty important. It gives some hints to the past and the future of Laurence's story, so you can have some fun with that. Finally, I've moved the short chapter of the Vermilion Sovereign to the new 'scraps' section of the site, because I've not really got much more than the written stuff out there. Anyway, here's the new chapter!

WHY DO I SUCK?
Hey all,
Gonna make this one short as I have to rush off to work (Like usual) I don't know why but I suck at posting chapters now that I've got out of the habit of it. I'm going to work on that. The important thing is that I am getting on top of it and I will be overcoming that as soon as I can. I will be releasing the first three parts of From Ashes tomorrow as a dump instead of chapter by chapter in order to make up for the tardiness, but here's the two Babel chapters I owe you for this week! I hope you enjoy them, this part of the story is a little bit more introspective I think, but there are callbacks that I have been planning since CHAPTER 2 OF BOOK 1 IN HERE, so enjoy~
