Hey all!
Yeah this is a quick update to say the chapter is out. I finished it on my way to work and have had to format it on my phone, so it is jenky as hell. I'll fix that when I get up tomorrow morning.
I've been working up to this chapter for a while. It was one of the four images that I had of the story when I first conceived of Babel and I'm glad that I have got it out of my head. There are only three more in the story before the end, but two of them happen in Heaven so it's slightly skewed in that respect. I hope you enjoy it as it is honestly one of the most intentionally awkward thing I have ever had to write. It was super difficult. Anyway, here's the chapter:

Two weeks later...
Hey all!
I'm so sorry about my disappearance, I've been ill, sick and struggling to find the end of a chapter, which was a real pain. I have done it now, so I'm doing a triple release of chapters (2 babel, 1 pandora) for you to make up for it. The first Babel chapter is the longest one so far, and all Pandora chapters are of a similar length, so that's why they take so long. I'm going to make more of an effort to update more often, but atm I have a lot on my plate so have no time whatsoever to get buffer chapters. Anyway, here's the chapters for today!

What is this sickness?
Hey all!
Eventful couple of weeks for me, and by eventful I mean I've been juggling illness, lack of sleep and 6 day work weeks since just before Halloween. I've not had the time nor been in the right state of mind to write, but I am BACK baby! To make up for my missing-ness I am going to release 5 chapters of writing today! Parts 2, 3 and 4, of the Fall of Biqiril, the first chapter of the week, AND the first chapter of the tentatively titled Pandora Experiment. I hope you guys like it, as it's not going to be coming out weekly, but there's a LOT more plot behind it, albeit just as little editing.

ON TIME TWICE?
Hey all!
New chapter is out, just before work, but on time again! It's magic! The arc is nearly finished now, with two more major parts to go before the characters continue up the tower. I'm pretty excited, as the series is getting on a roll, even if my posting of it is not. Anyway, here's the chapter!

What? ON TIME?
Hey all!
New chapter is out! I'm on time for once, sorta. This chapter isn't as long as most of the recent ones, but is still around 1500 words, so I don't feel too bad about it. It's not one of the sub 1000 word ones at least >_> I believe we are about three quarters of the way through this current floor, so you should see a conclusion of floor eleven by chapter 30. Pretty crazy now that I think about it, seeing as the first floor was only around 4 chapters. I really need to go back and bulk like mad on those early chapters, they were pretty weak! Either way, here's chapter 18!

This Is Getting To Be A Habit
Hey all!
I'm really sorry about being so shite about my release schedule recently. I don't know why I've been having such trouble keeping to the regular release schedule, but I have been working loads over the last couple of weeks. I don't know why I suck at this so bad.
Hey all!
Triple release! I decided to release the first part of the Fall of Biqiril with the two chapters that were supposed to come out this week. It's the diary that Laurence found inside Aledia in the most recent couple of chapters, and will be several parts long. However the chapters will also be much shorter than normal, as they are literally just diary entries.
The most recent couple of chapters would have been out earlier on in the week, but Chapter 14 is almost double the normal length of a chapter, so it took me a bit longer to do. However the chapters are done now, so have fun with them!

I'm an Awful Person
Hey all!
New chapter is out, and I'm really sorry about missing Monday's release. I was worked off my feet this weekend and was kinda dead on Sunday and Monday. I was also massively distracted, but I did manage to finish the chapter this week, and will endeavour to not miss another release date, if not releasing Babel, then releasing something else instead. I do have a few things that I am working up to releasing, so I do have some sort of buffer for chapters, even if it is not how I would like. Blah.
Today's chapter is a shorter one, but it is building up to the second act of this arc, where you find out more about Biqiril. You should enjoy it, especially if you like seeing people who thought they were doing a good thing shoot themselves in the foot. I enjoy that a lot, so I am having fun planning the story, even if it's actually harder to write than I thought it would be because it is in diary format. Either way, hopefully I should release the first part of that next week, with the first chapter of my other series that I actually intend to finish (unlike the Vermilion Sovereign, which is currently dead in the water). Either way, here's the chapter:

I'm really sorry about the last couple of days, I've been shite when it comes to releases, but hey, here's a triple release with 2 BONUS chapters (not of Babel specifically) coming out over this weekend. It's kinda crazy though, I broke 100 chapters and only just realised. It's a pretty big moment for me, but hey.

Soooreeeeyyyyyy
Hey all!
New chapter is out! I would have had two, but I really wasn't happy with how the second chapter came out, so I'm gonna work on it a bit more before Friday. Friday should have 2 chapters released, and if I'm lucky, 3. This chapter is introducing the name of the kingdom, and town they are spending the next little while in. It should be pretty interesting as the next main arc is playing around with the idea of magic arrays going horribly wrong and the repercussions of that.

Well I Feel Bad
Hey all!
Sorry about not having released a chapter on monday, I was a bit all over the place, and did not have one out in time. I'm releasing it now though, and I will try to release a double chapter set next monday to make up for it.
A little break from the normal plot, and we get to see how Declan is doing at the moment, which by how you can see is not well. I enjoyed writing this chapter, though it was hard, because I did not like how it turned out originally and had to rewrite a few times before it came to be what I wanted. It's done now though, so we can get back to the story as per normal. Off to work now, though, so here you go~

Coverage!
Hey all!
New chapter is out, it's the first Jim chapter of the new book. There's going to be a lot more of him than there was in the previous novel. This chapter shows the interactions between Jim and the leaders of Spring Street which I though was nice. It's also a chapter than puts into motion part of the plan that will be prevalent through the rest of the series.
In other news, a friend of mine decided to do the covers for my novels because he was bored, so thank you Amery, for doing that for me. The Magic Number!
Hey all!
New chapters are out, and to celebrate 50k views AS WELL AS finishing book 1, I'm going to chuck you three chapters, so feel special. One is a prologue that won't make much sense now, and the other two are full on chapters, so enjoy that. Other than that, I don't have much to report. I worked all weekend, and am surprised by how much writing I actually got done, but I enjoyed my writing that I did do, and am going to be starting the first proper arc of the series in maybe 3 chapters. Finished
Hey all!
New chapter is out, and damn, it's the last one. I hope you have enjoyed the first third of the journey so far, it's only going to get more wild as we go on. I'm going through the editing process now, while writing, which can be a bit time consuming, but I will be doing a double chapter release on monday to celebrate the start of Book 2, and the fact that the site finally reached 50k views. Not much really, but every time I fuck up and skip a release day, it hits my views and they plummet. I'll try not to do that in the future.
What did you all think of the book? It could probably do with a lot of work, but I am going to see how much needs changing and tightening during the editing process, and we shall see what comes out of it. Be warned, apart form the major plot points, the e-book will without a doubt be a completely different beast to this one. I'm so excited! Either way, here's the chapter:

Hey all!
Well that was worrying. I was about to attempt to publish today's chapter when google documents stopped being accessible by me. I don't know what happened, but it was absolutely terrifying. Don't worry, it's all fixed, but for a good moment there I was thinking "Did I just lose all my writing? Do I need to start again?" Either way, the last chapter proper is out for Babel act 1! There is just the epilogue to go, and then we will start on Act 2, Heaven! I hope you are all as excited as I am.
This weekend I've not been up to much. I was working for pretty much all of it, but I did hash out a fair amount of the next act on my journey in the tube. Not much else to report other than I am SLOWLY updating my website to look kinda functional. Either way, here's the chapter:

Four to go!
Hey all!
New chapter is out, and oh wow. I am 99% sure that there are only 4 more chapters of the first book of Babel left. This is pretty incredible for me, as I will have finished writing a book. It took me ten months, but damn, I am so proud. the chapter itself is the end of the fight between Laurence and Peter, and is a fair amount longer than a normal chapter, so enjoy that. There's just going to be a little plot building for book 2 in the last couple of chapters but other than that, I will be spending the next little while editing. So be prepared guys, in 3 weeks the second act of Babel - The Path To Ascension will be starting. Prepare yourselves for Act 2: Heaven.

Hey all!
Hey all!
Jesus Christ I am burned out. I spent pretty much the entire week writing a new series. I'm around 25k words into it, but the series is not getting released until I'm probably around 50k words in. That could be a week by the progress I made over the last week, or next month depending in how long it will take for me to un-burn myself. Either way, new chapter is out. It's a short one, but it's preempting the final fight of the first book.
Well, I'm off to work once more. Here's the chapter!

Just in Time
Hey all!
Still ill, but I am getting the chapter out. My throat is so blah right now. THE END IS NEAR. By the end of the summer, the first volume of Babel will be complete and out on Amazon. I can't actually believe it's so close. This chapter has most of my players coming together this chapter, which I 'm happy about. Not much else to say about it really. Either way, here's the chapter:

Earlier Than Recent History
Hey all!
New chapter is out, and the story is quickly approaching the final few chapters! The major plot points of the story are finishing, and the final spring is being wound up. So I've been writing a new story, and it's basically a combination of a couple of other ideas that I had, but it's a lot further along than either Expers or Lazarus, which are the two ideas I kind of combined to make the story. It's currently called The Pandora Experiment, but that name might change as and when I start releasing chapters. I will heavily edit the first chapter before it's released though, as I was sick this week and so my writing MAY be trash. We'll see. Either way, here's the chapter:

Going to water plants
Hey all!
I don't know why, but whenever I release a chapter I have to rush out straight after. Today it's because I promised to water the plants in an allotment, so I have to do that. So today's chapter reveals a little about how the elemental clans actually fight, and it has the first fateful meeting. I'm actually getting pretty excited about the end of the first book now. It's really really close. I keep saying it's five, it's ten chapters away, but I honestly have no idea. I'll likely be finished before chapter 100, but I cannot tell. Maybe it will be on chapter 100, maybe it will be after.
What have I been up to this weekend? I worked. For all of it. It was not fun, but hey, to and from work I started writing a new series, one that incorporates ideas from several other stories I have started but not finished, so we shall see where that goes! Either way, here's your chapter:

It's Raining Dogs And Cats
Hey all!
New chapter out, and a second new chapter as well. I'm sorry I was late, but work over this weekend kinda drained me. I would have had it out yesterday otherwise. The new chapters go back to the Empty Throne school, and show off something I have wanted to work into the series for a VERY long time, actual combat skills. I'm back!
Hey everyone!
New chapter is out, and we're beginning to explore the repercussions of the events of the previous arc. It's a short one, but I'm going to try and get a double release for this Monday to make up for my absence. Early on, I got a few complaints about how you can't tell when the characters are in the story, and that was intentional, as I wanted the POVs to all sync up at the end of the book. That is starting to happen, and you're going to see all the characters meet up in one way or another soon.
What have I been up to this week? Well I have basically been recovering form the break during the weekend, and doing job applications for most of it. I've got work this evening, otherwise I would have posted two chapters today. either way, I've got to leave for work now, so here's the chapter!

Hey all!
New chapter is out! It's ushering in the final stretch for the books and bringing a lot of the characters who showed up near the beginning of the story back into the forefront. There's a little to go, but it's going to be building up into one of the more interesting fights of the series, too. Cleo and Winoa make a return this chapter, as well as a name that you might have forgotten from a long time ago (almost seven months of writing at this point, but some of the binge readers might recognise them more). I really wonder how many of you saw what is going to be revealed in chapter 75 coming. I'd be interested to find out.
I've not been up to much this week, mainly writing and avoiding the rain like the plague. For some reason after finishing an arc, I always have difficulty getting started again, so I burned through my buffer. I will endeavour to get something new out on Monday, but it might be a bit shorter than what you're used to, as I will be away this weekend. We shall see.
One good thing that happened this week is the site broke 40k views, which is pretty big for me. I hope that by the end of the summer, so I will see if I can sort out maybe a midweek side story release, or a double release for Friday to celebrate. Either way, here's the chapter:

Funday Monday!
Hey all!
Monday update is out, and it's the last chapter of The Festival Of The Dead. It is one that closes a few loose ends, and allows us to work towards the finale of the series. It shows what happens to Damien, and shows us the path Laurence intends to walk for the rest of the series. The rest of the chapter is the nature of the final strike of Laurence's maelstrom hammer. The fallout was pretty big.
What have I been up to? Not much really. All I can really say about the weekend is Pride happened, which was cool, My bar did an event for it, and we were rammed until 6 in the morning, which was... interesting. I'm also slowly catching up with season 2 of the Flash too, which is cool. The Flash is my favourite DC super hero, so I quite enjoy the series. Either way, here's the chapter:

Countrywide Hokey Kokey
Hey all!
New chapter is out, second last chapter of the ongoing arc, and the midpoint of the fifth floor. There's only one more arc in the story to go, and I cannot wait to finish it. Then I can start work on publishing the book and writing book number 2!
What's been going on since Wednesday? The EU referendum happened, and that... Well that was interesting. The UK has now left the loving arms of Europe, and we have NO idea what will happen in the future. The pound has weakened as a currency, Britain's economy has gone to shit, and there are talks about the UK as a whole splitting up. This is all a little awkward. So instead, have a chapter:

I'm probably going to do a release of a bonus chapter on Wednesday, with a couple of bonus short stories to boot. They are stories I wrote a long time ago, but lead to ideas that permeate through the Babel series. I might also release a chapter of another series I'm writing. But I have yet to decide on that.

Getting Swole
Hey all!
New chapter is out, it's a little bit of down time from the brutality of the last chapter, but by the title you can tell the festival isn't over yet. Not for a few chapters at least. I will say that the first half of the last arc will be finished either next Friday or Monday, then we move on the the LAST PART OF THE BOOK Wooo! We will break 70 chapters this Monday, so I might just release the end of the arc then and there to celebrate, but I don't know. I'll see how I feel.
What have I been up to? Well panicking about my computer being super old is one thing, but I've also spent the last few days getting back into a training regime. I'm not fat by most standards, but I'm not in as good shape as I would personally like, so I've decided to work on it. My hope is that by getting into better shape, I'll also help myself focus more, which will allow me to write more, better and more quickly. We shall see. Here's the chapter;

Not For The Faint Of Heart
Hey all!
New chapter is out, and damn this one is... Rough. There's a lot going on here, but it sets a few things in motion, and gives you a greater understanding of Jim's powers. I really wonder how people are going to react to the end of the chapter, as it is honestly one of the most visceral things I have written in the series so far. The over the top brutality of it is something I really enjoyed adding, because it makes you squirm like nothing else. Also Jim is pretty bad-ass in the situation. A lot more human than Laurence, but that's intentional!
What have I been up to this week? Well dealing with CPU issues mainly. My computer is old, and it's slowly approaching the end of its cycle, so I really need to get a new one. I am slowly upgrading it, but the most expensive parts are what I need to replace. So that's fun. Here's the chapter:

It was supposed to be four chapters, but I am only half done before I have to leave for work, so I can't do more than this. Getting Popular
Hey all!
New chapter is out, it's more build up. There's a lot of that over the next 10 or so chapters, because everything is coming to a head in the series. This chapter is the first POV chapter from Jim, the THIRD protagonist of the series. There will be a couple more, but they aren't around yet. We're so close to the end of the book now, I can feel it!

New chapter is out, it's more build up. There's a lot of that over the next 10 or so chapters, because everything is coming to a head in the series. This chapter is the first POV chapter from Jim, the THIRD protagonist of the series. There will be a couple more, but they aren't around yet. We're so close to the end of the book now, I can feel it!

Little later than usual

Hype Train
Hey all!
CHAPTER 60 IS OUT! Wooo!!!!!! I liked writing this chapter, it was very... raw. The next few chapters are going to be like that, visceral and rough. Not in writing style or language used, but context and intent. A lot of what happens over 60 and 61 is meant to make you feel uncomfortable, so enjoy that while it lasts. We'll soon be back to our regular schedule of crazy shenanigans shortly.
I haven't really been up to much over this weekend, but I did play a cool card game called mascarade, and that was pretty fun. It's all about lying and bluffing to victory. I won half the games we played, which I'm happy about! I'm going to leave you on that because I'm hungry and want food before Overwatch comes out in... eight hours. Another Day, Another Post On Time.
Hey all!
New chapter's out. And it's on time again, which is a pleasant trend I intend to continue. Not much really happens in this chapter, but it begins a period of speeding up towards the final time period that the book will be ending on. Only 15 months in plot to go before the end~ This chapter goes into the Break Talisman, which is an item that I first referenced... Around thirty chapters ago? Probably closer to forty in reality. Wow how time flies. So yeah, you finally find out what they actually do, and how they work rather than the vague description before, and you'll be seeing them in action over the coming weeks.
I don't really have much to say about my private life really. Same old, same old. Though Royal Road has made my site a lot more popular. People actually like this novel, which I'm quite happy about. Hopefully it stays that way. I've got a lot happening in the coming months, but the moment I have some solid stuff I can tell you all about then I will. Either way, here's the chapter:

20000 Views!
Hey all!
Quick update with a chapter today. Not much to really comment on, but there's going to be a time skip in the next couple of chapters of the series. It is the first of many, but that's just one of the tropes of the genre. This chapter should give people more of a sense of scale again. Often when reading about the super powers that characters have in things like Coiling Dragon or Against The Gods you lose track of how powerful people are compared to the normal people of the world, so that's what the next couple of chapters are for. Also they are pretty fun, and they catapult the series into the arc finale, before the final arc of the book. We're getting close guys! So close!
What have I been up to? Well not much really. I was at work on Saturday and a bottle of Jack Daniels shattered, covering my hand in glass. I didn't get injured badly or anything, but I tell you, pouring alcohol over a hand covered in VERY SMALL CUTS hurts like hell. Royal Road?
Hey all!
Early update today, because I feel like it I guess. New chapter doesn't have much, but it sets the scene for the shenanigans that are going to take place over the next ten chapters or so. I hope you like them, as I'm not too sure about them. After that we will have the closing of the book. It's annoying, because every time I think I'm near to completing the book, I realise that I actually have about 20 more chapters to go. It's silly. Some times 1500 words does not stretch as far as you would like it to.
What have I been up to this week? Well I have been FINALLY adding a mirror to my work, so if you don't like my site, you can read it on Royal Road now. I've got up to chapter 30 on there, but I'm putting ten chapters up every day, until we get to my current limit. If you want to use it, click HERE. Meet Jim
Hey all!
New chapter is out, it's one that tells you a little about Spirit, the city that they are in and the one they will be in for the rest of the story. There's a lot about the city you'll discover over the next few chapters, but today's chapter is more of an introduction to the gang more than anything else. I hope you enjoy it.

Hey all!
New chapter is out, a tiny bit earlier than normal too. Reached chapter 55, and the final main character has been introduced! I really liked writing this chapter, it just flowed out of me. I reckon there's around 19 chapters left of the first book, so I'll be closing that out soon too!

Wednesday/Friday update this week! Sorry about that. I was intending to write 3 chapters this week, to try and rush to the end of book one but I got distracted by 3 things. 1) I got distracted by work over the weekend, 2) I got distracted by the Overwatch open beta, which I'm in, and 3) I got distracted by dealing with the secret project that I am doing. I will tell you more when my new microphone arrives! (hint hint)
As for today's chapter, it's the end of the fifth floor arc, and covers the very beginning of the final arc of the first book! Bonus Bonanza Ends
Hey all!
New chapters are out, and I'm continuing with releasing bonus chapters (only one this time) in celebration of breaking a half century in chapters. There's only one or two chapters left in the fifth floor arc, which means we are actually approaching the last arc of the book! Finally! Once the book is complete I will be taking a week off to begin the editing process before I start writing again, so there may be a dearth of chapters for a week or so, but I will be starting up once more as soon as I can with book 2 of Babel, Heaven.
What have I been up to this week? Learning SQL and writing mainly. I did pick up Persona 3 on my phone though. That's a pretty fun game. Not much to really say otherwise, but Persona is pretty great.

Adsenseless
Hey all!
New chapter is out, shit's going down in a big way in the book, but it should be all sorted out in four or five chapters, which will be just in time for the next major arc. We will be moving on from the fifth floor to the next stage in the journey! I enjoyed writing this part though, because there's something very enjoyable about a man being repeatedly punched in the face when he's effectively given a death sentence to twenty people. Either way, it was pretty silly.
what have I been up to this week? Well I have been writing and working a fair bit (I actually have a buffer again, that I might be mincing through once the book is actually edited and published), I've also continued with my watching of the X-Files. I don't know if I ever referenced this, but recently while writing I've been sticking the X-files on in the background, and it's really damn good. I will be using it as inspiration for some of the minor plot points when I actually get writing other things, but right now I'm so close to completing Babel, I can taste it. I reckon the first draft of the story is about 4/5 done now. So you should expect maybe 20-25 more chapters before I go into editing phase and get the book ready for publishing.

Then we get on to the City. This new chapter doesn't really introduce anything new, but it does reveal Zoo's plans and some of his motivations.

I'm actually updating 'early' for once, which I'm pretty happy about. The next couple of chapters will be coming out pretty solidly on time, which I am happy with. I'm not sure about actually having a solid buffer though. In a few chapters I'm thinking of a mass pushing of my book, to see if I can get more people on board, so if you want to help just pass the book around. Tell people about it.

So I'm an idiot.
Hey all!
Chapter was out yesterday but I forgot to post any sort of announcement! So congrats to the one person who actually realised that that had happened and read the chapter anyway. Congrats to you! For everyone else, the new chapter is out and it's building up to one of my favourite chapters I have ever written, so there's that.
What have I been up to? Work, and I got a new phone after like 3 years. So that's nice. It's so easy to write on, which was one of my major problems with my old phone. I write everywhere, but I am most focussed on writing when I am travelling, so my phone is pretty important to me. Having a shitty phone was not helpful, so now I have a shiny new Samsung :3 It's so pretty.

On Time Once Again!
Hey all!
New chapter out, introducing a new character who may return later on in the series (book 2 or 3). I don't really have much to say about this chapter, other than it touches on arrays. Arrays are going to be a focus of the story for the next few chapters, but after that they should become a staple of the series.

Arrays are going to be a focus of the story for the next few chapters, but after that they should become a staple of the series.

Bad Luck Weeks
Hey all!
So the last two weeks have been awful for me writing wise. Not because I haven't been able to write but rather because I smashed my phone and lost two chapters of writing. So I had to rewrite them from scratch, which is actually a lot harder than writing from scratch. I also had to replace my phone. So I'm taking the chance this week to restore my buffer that I had lost until recently. I have a few chapters backed up, but they will be getting staggered releases until I am finished with the first book.
This chapter is more of a reaction chapter than anything else, but you learn what the box actually does and a little more about the clans. So there's that. You'll also learn how having a strong backer can be useful in society, even if you don't realise that fact.

Somewhere In America It's Still Monday
Hey All!
I've had a pretty blah week, so I didn't update, but today I've got a nice present for my tardiness: It's a TRIPLE UPDATE! It's got a lot of exposition in the latter half, but you meet a character who is pivotal to the story for the next nine or ten chapters, so that should be fun. This Is Getting To Be A Habit
Hey all!
So I've been pretty shite when it comes to updating chapters recently. I'm really sorry about that. The main issue I have been having is that I changed the way I write my chapters without realising it around Christmas, and it completely threw off my pace, so I've been really struggling to find my centre again when it came to writing. I found it yesterday night, so I'm finally able to write at a decent pace again. I'm not making any statements about writing 1 chapter every 2 hours or something, but the way the writing is going I should still be on target for my intended release date of the first book - Q2 of this year. I estimate that chapter wise, we are about half way through the story, so with the free version of the book, you should have a lot more to come out before the story is finished. Please be clear though, the free version of this book is a thoroughly unedited version of my story. When I finish I am going back over it with a fine tooth comb and completely editing everything.
Now you know what's been up with my writing, here's the chapter!

On Time For Once.
Hey all!
I'm actually on time for once. It's a miracle! I broke 11k views last week, so I'm pretty happy about that. Not much else has happened for me since monday. I had a nice time on tuesday (sorry once again for being so late), saw the end of the NME music awards at my workplace yesterday, and have more plans tonight. Other than that though, I've not been up to much.
The chapter itself is the end of the battle mini-arc, and is moving us steadily on towards the end of the first Act of Babel. This is something I'm pretty excited about, but not sure how people will respond to. I just hope you like it!

The Body is Willing
Hi all!
Not much to update this week really. New chapter is out, it's a precursor to a big fight and introduces a connection into the story. Other than that I can't really tell you much in case I spoil the next ten or fifteen or so chapters. Either way we are building up to a lot.
I haven't been up to much recently, but I have started playing Darkest Dungeon and have written the first six chapters of Expers. I'm probably going to publish them in groups of either three or five, but I haven't decided yet. I'm going to see Deadpool on Sunday, so I should have a little to chat about on the Monday update.

#SoTired
Hi all!
Chapter's out a bit late because I was distracted by youtube, but I finished doing the chapter a while a go. I'm still a bit tired from working though. For anyone who doesn't know, I work at a night club. It can be pretty tiring, and as I worked from Thursday to Sunday VERY late, it kind of fucked with my sleeping pattern, so I wasn't able to write much over the weekend. However chapter is out, and it introduces some new characters. Here's the new chapter!

Expansive Procrastination.
Hey all!
New chapter is out, it's a shorter one, but the next couple should be longer than this. I've been naughty and not written as much as I should have this week. But I've been a little busy jobbing and reading. The chapter itself ends the interactions with Luke for now, but he will be coming back at a later date.
What have I been up to this week? well I finished watching the Expanse, which was incredible. It is honestly the best thing that SyFy have produced since they changed their name to that... Monstrosity. Everything about the show is ramped up to eleven, and it's a really enjoyable 10 episodes. Watch it if you like space opera, because it's going to be better than most you're going to watch any time soon.

Chapter's Out! The Big 30!
Hey all!
Well this weekend was... Fun. I was ruined on Saturday night, so I've had a little trouble writing over the weekend but I'm still on time! This new chapter is a bit of an info-dump, but I'm pretty happy that the information is there. It tells you a lot more about what a Golden Child actually is and allows you to see a little more into the world of the clans.
What have I been up to since Friday? Not much really. Work and Stephen Universe. Stephen Universe is pretty fun though, check it out if you like kid-oriented cartoons that have some adult humour in them. Next weekend I'll be working Thursday to Sunday, so I might be a little late no the post on Monday. I hope I won't be though.

On Time Twice!
Hi all!
New chapter is out today, and on time too! These next couple of chapters are pretty lore heavy, so you'll be learning more about the overarching society that is part and parcel of the world of Babel. We will be moving on from lore-dumps in a bit, and should get some more interesting bits of action within 4 or 5 chapters if that's more your thing. Either way, I am actually starting to build up a back-log of chapters again, so that's a positive thing. If I can get up to 10 I should be set up comfortably.
What have I been up to this week? Writing, working, making curry. Not much really. I finished Consider Phlebas, which was cool. So I might start reading The Player of Games soon. Alternatively I might read some other authors I like, as I still haven't read the new Mistborn book and Brandon Sanderson is one of my favourite authors.

WHAT? A Post On Time?
Hi all!
Good news everybody! I seem to be back on track (at least a little). I have managed to give myself a bit of a new buffer, and should be back to regularly posting on Monday and Friday! I'm sorry about my tardiness, but when you lose your buffer and shit keeps going wrong, you have to work real hard to fix these things. The chapter is out, and it is the creation myth of the world, explaining a little about how the tower was born and what it was born from. It also gives a name to the absolute god of the series, so there's that.
What have I been up to? Getting well, trying to write, playing Binding of Issac way too much, and reading Consider Phebias by Iain M. Banks. It's a one of those series I have been meaning to read for way too long, so I'm just sitting down and reading it. I'm half way through though, so not too long now :3

Being sick is hard.
Hi all!
So I've been sick recently, and that's not exactly been helpful for me writing Babel. Instead I've been writing fever-dream like pieces for Expers (which I will be releasing some time after I finish chapter 10). I've cut down a lot now that I feel a bit better, but I am still behind on babel, which is currently my big thing. It is not helpful. Once I have got a backlog of Babel I will properly begin working again.

Wowzers I Suck!
Hi all!
Very late chapter, four days in fact. I don't know why but I have been finding this chapter REALLY hard to write. I was stuck on 200 words for about three days. I've pushed past it now, and am moving onto the next part of the book, the one I know most vividly, and introduces a character who I really like the idea of. Next week I want to get back to publishing two Babel chapters a week, as well as push out the Viridian Sovereign AND work on my third planned series, a modern day demon hunting series with levels and stuff. That one is called Expers, and is instentionally going to have super short chapters and be published in bulk, so we will see if I actually get it published at all.
What have I been doing while not being able to write? Played Issac. I've played almost 100 hours of that game now. I am seriously addicted HALP.

TRIPLE UPDATE!
Hi all!
True to my word, I have a pretty awesome surprise for you, I have three chapters to release today! Two are for Babel, but one is for my new series, The Vermilion Sovereign. I hope that makes up slightly for my lack of posting over Christmas! I like these chapters, and they are slowly building up to the end of the first major arc of Babel, but that will likely not happen before maybe the thirtieth chapter.
What have I been up to other than writing? Well, not much really. Recently I watched Rick and Morty, and I have been looking for something to fill that void, but TV around this time becomes a bit crap. Other than that I played a LOT of Binding of Issac and hunted for new jobs, when I was not working. It's actually been pretty fun.
Some of you might remember Lazarus, the other piece I have been working on. I still would like for that to continue, but I currently cannot summon the effort to plan for that story, for some reason. So that one might be on the back-burner for a little while. If and when I decide to work on it again, I will update and release it, but until then you will be waiting.
One more thing. I will not be updating the Vermilion Sovereign often, but it will be out at least once a month. I am currently only writing it when I am burnt out with Babel, but if it picks up some steam then I might have more incentive to write it.

Hiatus over!
Hi all!
So this was a trek, I was originally intending to be posting over the Christmas period, but fate seemed to have other ideas. I have been posting on my girlfriend's laptop for the last month due to not getting my computer out of a box, but she was away over the winter period so I had to finally get my desktop. Unfortunately my computer died for no reason, then I tried everything I could to work out what was wrong with it, but I couldn't for days. Finally I worked out it was either my GPU or my monitor, or the cables in-between. It turns out that thanks to lack of use, the fan of my GPU was so packed with dust it would not work. This took me a week to work out. The second issue was that after a week of no writing I had lost my flow, and had no idea how to continue. This was fixed TODAY, so you will be receiving as many chapters as I can write this week, perhaps three, four, or maybe even six. This will be a MEGA publication week!
In the mean time, here is the first chapter! Have fun!
